Invisalign before and after: cases by Dr Berk Köni
Treatments that Dr Berk Köni planned and followed himself, shared with each patient’s written consent:
Invisalign clear aligners, fixed braces, children’s orthodontics and cases combined with jaw surgery. Use
the tabs to filter by treatment and select any photo pair to see the before and after side by side.
Photos are shared with each patient's written consent. They are unedited apart from cropping and resizing,
and faces are cropped for privacy. Results vary from person to person; every treatment carries risks,
explained below. Select a photo pair to enlarge it.

How to read these photos
Each pair shows the same patient from the same angle, before treatment and after it.
Photos are unedited apart from cropping and resizing. Faces are cropped for privacy.
Results and treatment time vary from person to person. What is possible for you can only be judged at a
consultation, after an examination.
Treatment-planning simulations (such as an Invisalign ClinCheck plan) are not shown here. If you see one at
your consultation, it is a plan, not a result.
Where other clinicians were involved, for example for jaw surgery or prosthetic work, the case card says so.
Orthodontic treatment is generally safe, but like any treatment it has risks. Results vary from
person to person and cannot be guaranteed. Dr Berk Köni explains the risks that apply to your case
before you decide.
Tenderness or pressure for a few days after starting treatment and after each new aligner or adjustment.
Tooth decay, white marks on the enamel or gum inflammation if teeth are not cleaned well during treatment.
Some shortening of tooth roots (root resorption). It is usually minor, but it can be significant in a small number of cases.
Teeth moving back towards their old position (relapse) if retainers are not worn as advised after treatment.
Jaw joint discomfort, which is uncommon.
Treatment can take longer than planned, for example when aligners or elastics are not worn as prescribed or appointments are missed.
